Edwardian Embroidered White Cotton Lawn Lace Dress Shrug Jacket Skirt Set
This antique Edwardian era embroidered white cotton lawn lace dress shrug jacket and skirt dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer white cotton lawn fabric with raised padded satin stitch embroidered floral vine leaf designs and cutwork lace trim accents. This lovely lace two piece dress has a short cropped shrug style Spencer bolero jacket with an open front, decorative round crochet ball button trim, a fold over collar, 3/4 length sleeves and is sheer unlined. The top measures 12 inches long, with a 36 inch bust. Included is a matching lace fabric full short skirt with pleated gathering around the waist with decorative crochet ball button trim down the front, hook closure on the front and is sheer, unlined. The skirt measures 28 inches long, with a 25 inch waist and 60 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only a faint small age spot stain on the back skirt. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
