This vintage 40s blazer has a very polished look. Made of black gaberdine wool, it is a versatile piece that can be paired with trousers, a skirt or even a basic dress.
This looks like a military jacket but since there no tags we can't say for sure if it was and if so which branch of the military.
This jacket was designed with a nautical theme in mind: the stripes on the sleeves and gold buttons featuring the spread bald eagle are reminiscent of an admiral's uniform.
It was designed with two pocket flaps on the chest, though neither is a functional pocket (decorative only). There are two functional pockets in the inside lining of the jacket. Note the unique style of collar -- we haven't seen anything quite like it! This jacket was custom made by Tailorbrooke and features a union tag.
The original size is not indicated, however it fits like a size small. Because every figure is different, please...
