The paint work is completely original and it is in fabulous condition. Originally, the drums were outfitted with one-piece, chrome plated "tube" lugs and fittings. There were no name badges on the original set. At some point, the chrome fittings were removed and the Noble & Cooley factory installed separate low-mass CD-maple lug casings and switched all of the hoops and RIMS suspension mounting systems to black finish. At this time, Noble & Cooley installed brass CD-maple badges to each of the six shells. Additionally, there are no markings or stampings of any kind on the insides of each drum. Changing out the hardware was carried out in a highly professional manner and there no extra holes or visible modifications on the insides or outsides of any of the drums. * The 10" tom has a "gated" bottom rim, the kind used on snare drums.* The 8" tom has die-cast hoops instead of steel.* No stands or tom mounts are included with this auction.* Each drum has one or two vent holes.
