    Out of a recent Kalamazoo estate:
    Vintage 1960s BONNIE CASHIN SILLS & CO Quilted Glove Leather Coat
    Size: Size tag has been removed. The fit dummy is a size 4- this is too big. I would put the coat at a 6 or 8- the boxy modified-swing style is fairly forgiving. The following FLAT measurements are: Shoulder to bottom of coat is 24", chest across (button on widest available) is 21", Arms are 21.5" uncuffed- if they are cuffed you get more of a 3/4 look and that measures 19.5", across bottom at hip is 23"
    Color: Brown
    Fabrication: Soft glove leather, very supple. The lining is in nice shape and feels like a fine merino wool. The entire jacket is lined, even pockets. All original buttons are accounted for

    Condition: The jacket has been stored, so it has a slight odor of mothballs- not unpleasant but could use a cleaning. The estate was non-smoking, no pets. Leather in good shape, no punctures or abrasions. The arm inset at the back of the right arm seam is pulling apart- please see photo. Some buttons seem a little loose and could use additional anchoring. There may be slight stretching from stored hanging- minimal but this is an important piece and I wanted to point it out.
