    Description

    This is a genuine antique skirt circa 1910s acquired from the Coles County Historical Society of Illinois.   The semi-sheer white cotton is sometimes referred to as "lawn cloth."  There are spectacular areas of cutwork with hand crocheted trim and embellishments.  The elastic waist can accommodate between 26" to 36" with hips up to 44" and length is 32". There are a few dots of discoloration (as pictured) and some torn stitches, but otherwise in remarkable condition for its age.  Fresh from decades of storage, please hand wash before use.
