Slingerland Sound King 2pc Drum Kit Set Blue Duco Vintage 1960's

Description

From the 1960's this is a 2 piece Slingerland drum set in a blue duco. Maple/poplar/mahogany shells with maple reinforcement rings. Clear interiors. Tom has chrome over brass hoops. This has 100% original parts! Comes with an 8 (deep) x 12 rack tom and a 14 (deep) x 22 bass drum. Shows normal signs of use with scratches, chips, and cracking of the duco which is more noticeable on the rack tom. Metal hoops and hardware have pitting and minor rust. There's no notable warping in the brass hoops. Spurs, tom mounts, and mufflers are 100% functioning. There is a cymbal arm bracket on the bass drum which also works. Does not have a thumbscrew. Threads are in good shape. Interiors and bearing edges are good condition. Bass drum hoops show chips and scratches in the outer areas. Batter side has pedal rash. Inlays are fully intact. Heads are calfskin! They show wear, but have plenty of use left. See the pictures for more details!
