Description

This is a classic aqua / turquoise 1940s to 1950s women's two piece suit - a jacket and a skirt ensemble. Created in luxurious soft well draping linen, there is very attractive detailing. The jacket has wide pointy lapels, slanted side piped pockets with one button missing and the closure is 5 medium size mother of pearl buttons. The wiggle skirt is darted on each side of the waistband and it has a full pleat on the right side starting just below the hips. Approx measurements are taken laying flat, closed, across and doubled when appropriate; Jacket - 17" shoulder to shoulder, 38" bust, 35" waist, 24" sleeve shoulder seam to cuff and 22 1/2"  shoulder to hem - Skirt
- 30" waist, 42" hips and 30" waist to hem. This suit is in extremely / exceptionally good condition with only a small faint mark on the back right shoulder. Please ask any questions before bidding. Have a great day!
