Riviera Downrigger for Deep Water Trolling, manual (not-electronic), 140 ft braided wire.
Vintage Riviera Manual Deep Troller with clutch brake lever and 140 feet of braided stainless steel trolling-wire installed. Includes a 4-in. x 5-in. X ½-in. solid aluminum deck mounting plate with quick-removal knobs and four, 2-in. long stainless steel, slotted & countersunk mounting-plate bolts. The two black knobs allow you to quickly remove, or attach, the downrigger from its mounting plate (& your boat).
This used deep troller has been well maintained. The wheel-driven depth counter is accurate and intact. The manual “clutch” lever stops your trolling line at any depth and the stronger spring-loaded locking pin can be set at quarter turns of the reel.
Ideal for medium depth and deep water trolling, it’s simple & inexpensive equipment for beginners & for pros who want to add a second or third downrigger to their boat.
