RARE "NO SHIELD" INGLASCO OFFICIAL NHL PUCK NEW YORK ISLANDERS V4 80/83

Description

(1980 - 1983) InGlasCo "No Shield" NY Islanders Official National Hockey League Puck V4
This puck was issued on Viceroy slugs with a simple script reverse logo (No NHL Shield is present on the back). This series was also screened by Inglasco as noted on the back (another series was screened by Viceroy). The Inglasco screened pucks seem to be much less common than the Viceroy screened pucks. These pucks saw very limited game use and are hard to come by.
Condition
Some of the white portions of the NY Islanders logo have worn off, due to age or possible game use. (But the blue and orange of the logo are still quite intact.) The back of the puck shows some scratches and pitting, and the orange "OFFICIAL NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PUCK" has also worn off slightly in places. Other than these minor imperfections, the puck is actually in quite nice shape!
