    High Speed Planer
    Stainless Steel
The Pro-Troll planer is constructed of heavy stainless steel. It is extremely stable in the water at all trolling speeds because of its two rear vertical fins and its kite type bridle which helps stability. It is designed for a maximum pull of 50 to 60 lbs on the downrigger cable or cord. This is well within the capacity of most downrigger booms and downrigger cable. The planer can be easily retrieved by slowing the boat.
A chart and full instructions on how to use the Planer is included.
The High speed planer is designed for use with downriggers or a tuna cord and for trolling 6 to 12 knots. This stainless steel planer is specifically designed to take lures from 20 to 70 feet deep while trolling at 6 to 12 knots. Its maximum pull is 40 lb and it can easily be retrieved by slowing the boat. Its big advantage is that it does not exceed 40 lb of pull even at high speeds. It works well with downriggers or can be tied to a cleat with tuna cord. A conventional downrigger release can be mounted on the cable above the planer. The planer measures 6 1/2 " wide and 10" long.
We can put two planers in same box with no additional shipping cost.
