    Darling Late 30’s Novelty Print True Vintage 2 Piece Ladies Suit. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.

    Description
    : This darling late 1930’s/early 1940’s ladies novelty print 2-piece summer suit has been in my collection for years but it’s time for it to find a new home. I’ve always imagined an elementary school teacher wearing it. The print is made up of acorns, apples, cherries, and various types of flowers. The top is collared with 3 plastic flower buttons down the front and two ruched pockets. The skirt is A lined and buttons on the left side. The color most accurately is depicted in pictures 4 and 6.I’ve never seen a set quite like this before!
    Fabric: Linen/cotton
    Condition: Very Good- This is a very wearable piece that has plenty life left in it. The fabric is sturdy despite its nearly 90 year old age but is not without its flaws. I have painstakingly hand stitched multiple small darn repairs on the top. Most are on and the shoulders/tucked under sleeve pleats. One by the top button that is not seen when worn. I made them as invisible as I possibly could. You can see them in the close up pictures. The skirt’s side closure does not line up properly due to how it was originally sewn. There are a few seams that I have reinforced with hand stitching. If you have any questions or would like more photos feel free to message me.
