Up For Auction is this RARE Large Antique Hand carved & Hand Painted(with original paint) wooden carved
Male American Kestrel Hawk
bird with glass eyes and painted long wired legs & feet on a piece of wood Sculpture / Figurine.  This RARE Piece is not only charming but well done and detailed painted with the original paint (very little paint loss in one spot, see pictures) on this beautiful piece.  It measures approx. 8" Tall x 4" wide x 10" deep and he weighs 10.7 oz. The entire statue is carved from one piece of wood. This bird was one from my Great Grand Father's Collection.  He had them displayed on his Book Case from when I remember!!  I have no idea how old this piece is, due to it is NOT marked or signed that I can see or find anywhere...he has been gone for over 60 years, and I am over 50 myself...But he always collected high end items, of all kinds and sorts, I will be listing more of his collection soon, so check out my store to see more of his collection.
