    Description

    A superb example of a Great Dane dog, produced by Gort China Company of Metuchen, N.J., in business from 1944 to 1955. Potters Eric and Walter Gort produced fine bone china figurines which are highly sought after by collectors today. This figurine is fully hallmarked and marked as model 104-D. This is a large and impressive piece, measuring 12 1/4" tall by 13" long. The dog is depicted in the fawn colorway, with lovely subtle decoration and fine realistic modeling.
