Cisco Systems Planer/ Downrigger? motor. Compatible w/ Big Jon READ DESCRIPTION!

This is either a Cisco Fishing Systems Planer Motor, or a downrigger motor (I am not sure which one).
I had purchased an entire "LOT" of gear from a gentlemen who was getting out of the sport, and this motor was part of his stash. He claimed it was a working spare, but I have absolutely no idea how it runs under load, or if its still good since I couldn't test it under load. I did hook up the black lead to the negative of my battery and the red lead to the positive to try to test it (under no load). It wasn't the quietest thing I've ever heard, but it ran. Again, because I have no idea if this is any good under load, consider this motor as being sold "AS IS" - i.e. condition unknown.  I have also selected as "For Parts" on the listing, just in case its not good.
