This genuine antique tissue-guarded colored lithograph print/plate includes the birds "THE RED-TAILED HAWK", published in"Studer's Popular Ornithology: Birds of North America" of 1878. The prints in this first printing of the 1878 volume have superior presentation of color than do the later editions. Printed on a heavy paper stock this colored lithograph itself is 9 x 12 inches in size and printed on the 11 x 14 inch crisp, clean and strong heavy paper stock and protected by the tissue-guarded page as issued. It is highly displayable, ready to frame, in excellent condition, and guaranteed to be as described.
