    NEW
    variation featuring TRU UV reflective decals has been requested by followers to complete the collection.  Charter Captains and other knowledgeable fishermen are well aware of the benefits of UV light reflection under water.  UV equipped flashers are often Charter Captain's secret success weapon for salmon and trout species.  Here's why:
    Visible light disappears at about 17' depth or shallower depending upon the clarity of the water.
    Some colors fade much more quickly than others, ie reds and yellows fade first while blues and greens penetrate deeper.  They all fade.
    UV light penetrates water much deeper and is believed to be visible to several species of fish in over 100 FOW.
    TRU UV holographic and transparent lure decals reflect this light while other non-uv tapes cannot.
    The Ol' Fred's 4" Fish Flash with TRU UV on both sides reflects light from both sides creating a double strobe-like effect.  They other 7 variations reflect UV light from only one side, but have the added benefit of color when trolling at shallow depths.
    This TRU UV Collection is
    especially effective for Chinook and Coho.  They are also very effective for Kokanee
    .
    For kokanee,if using a standard squid, spinner squid or spinner, try inserting a bent trolling blade between the squid and the Fish Flash to give more action to the lure as kokanee like a vigorous action.  An effective trolling method without the trolling blade is to use an Ol' Fred's
    ZIPPP SQUID
    which provides its own action (listed separately).
