The book is the millenial edition of a book that was first published in 1934 -- It is a very well-written story and history of the founding of The Hawk Mountain Sancutary, the world's first sanctuary for birds of prey (hawks, turkey vultures, eagles, osprey, falcons, etc.), located on over 2,600 acres of mountainous woodlands, near the towns of Port Clinton, Pa. and Hamburg, Pa.  In addition to the text, the book also contains 35 old photographs. The book is 21 years old, and it is in in near mint condition, with just some very, very minor signs of wear on the covers. There are no creases, no rips or tears, no soiling, no writing onn any of the pages, etc.
