This listing is for 2 piece classic Vintage 50's party dress and jacket in Navy Blue by Carlye. Fabric is a solid colored satin fabric textured with flowers.
The dress has a halter type neckline with pleated bustline. Dress has plenty of seaming at the waist and so is very fitted but flares into the full skirt nicely. Has side pockets and 14" back zipper.
Short Bolero Jacket is very tailored with cuffs, bound buttonholes and covered buttons and bead in flower centers on collar and cuffs. The jacket has the Carlye label.
We find no other labels in either garment. Set appears to be a small size. We did some measuring.
Dress:
The back length of the dress from the neckline to the hem is 34"
The length from the waist to the hem is 29"
Waist is 27.5"
Back shoulder to shoulder is 14"
Jacket:
The length back center from top of the collar to hem is 14"
Back shoulder to shoulder is 15"
Armpit to armpit back is 15"
Length front center from neckline to hem is 10"
Sleeve length is 24"
Both pieces have been previously worn. I see no obvious wear issues. This classic outfit is in Good condition and tailoring details are quite impressive.
